For 48 years, our great volunteers have worked to ensure that we don't falter in our mission to continue the legacy of comic opera and the musical theater of the past. This has become a greater challenge today, and to succeed we need your support.

Our current season, our 49th, has been impacted by the current pandemic. The revival of John Philip Sousa's operetta The Bride Elect, postponed from this spring, was sung and recorded on Oct. 24, after which the run was halted due to a cast member testing positive for Covid.  The Harold Haugh Light Opera Vocal Competition is scheduled for March 19, 2022, and for this we will need monetary support. Two more Victor Herbert musicals, The Gold Bug and Hula-Lula were recorded over the summer and added to our recordings legacy. The Debutante and Oui, Madame, postponed from the summer of 2020, will be scheduled once again. Our 50th season, 2022-23, will be cause for a major celebratory gathering.  It's a slate we look forward to, and we look forward to your support to make it happen.

We hope that you will want to keep the joy of challenging, yet lighthearted musical theater available for new generations. Your donation to the Comic Opera Guild goes a long way, due to the economy of operation we achieve through the combination of professional and amateur talent. It allows us to perform a repertory that other companies cannot, and has produced a large recording archive that is shared with music lovers and libraries throughout the country and internationally.

Please consider establishing your donorship in the box below. The Comic Opera Guild is a 501 c(3) not-for-profit corporation. As a thank you for donations of $100 or more, we will send our recording of Victor Herbert's "The Gold Bug."
